pp method

Rooted in Joseph Pilates’ original method and its contemporary evolution through biomechanics and movement science knowledge.

Each session combines the Classical traditional repertoire — its precise order, execution and technique — with Contemporary Pilates: introducing exercise layering and progressions, thoughtful modifications and creative variations.
The result is a deeper, more nuanced adaptation to each person’s level and needs, and a more purposeful, efficient progression.

At Phaedra Pilates you will work across the full Apparatus System for a comprehensive practice.

pp classes

Sessions are offered in private and semi-private formats, with no more than three participants per group.

Whether you’re just beginning or refining your skills, pp classes are designed to meet you exactly where you are.

Each session helps your build strength, stability, mobility and flexibility while fine-tuning your Powerhouse; refine your alignment and deepen your body awareness, breath and control.
You’ll leave feeling centered, balanced, connected and revitalized.

Sessions are available in Italian, English, French and German.

Come as you are. Move with purpose.
Leave stronger from the inside out.

pp teaching

Phaedra brings clarity, positive energy and full presence to every session. She supports you and explains through a cue, a visualization, a demonstration, using the language your body understands best.

This creates the space needed to move, adjust and improve, building confidence and turning each correction into something you understand rather than simply follow.

“I teach the person, not the exercise”.

pp approach

Before movement begins, the person is seen as a whole.
From there, the practice takes shape.

a program built around you

You’ll be training in an environment built to support consistency and meaningful progress and lasting results.

Every session is planned before you arrive: previous notes, physical conditions and weekly feedback all inform what comes next. Your postural situation, limitations, compensations and progress are carefully documented, allowing your program to evolve accordingly.

Phaedra’s goal goes beyond what happens in the studio — she helps you recognize and change inefficient postural and movement habits in daily life, developing the awareness to internalize them.

Observed with care. Guided with intention.
Carried into everyday life.

a complete practice

Understanding the essence and principles of the Method means experiencing Pilates as a complete System.

At Phaedra Pilates, there are no predefined classes: the Apparatus are thoughtfully combined and selected within each session, each serving a specific purpose and offering a distinct form of feedback, support, guidance and challenge.

This variety opens up unique movement possibilities, adapting the practice to your body, level and needs, while progressively building deeper connections and movement skills.

Your body changes everyday. Your lesson should too.
